Elizabeth married to William Lightcap September 1874. They had two children, Joseph Harvey and Julia Ann, each named after Elizabeth's parents. Mr. Lightcap disappeared around 1882 and was later presumed murdered after a skeleton was found in a gravel pit some 30 years later. In 1888, Elizabeth married Henry D. Lile and had a son Russell Alger who later went by Russell John. She briefly lived in Ohio after she married, but spent most of her life in Wabash and Kosciusko County, Indiana until 1899 when the family moved to Phillips, Wisconsin. After the death of her husband Elizabeth moved to Waukesha, WI with her daughter, Julia Wilson, and she died there in 1943. Elizabeth was buried in the Wilson plot in Plainfield, Wisconsin where her daughter was later buried as well.
