Marcum, Woodrow-76, of Route 3, Oneida, passed away Tuesday morning, July 26, 1988, at the Scott County Hospital. Born in Scott County, July 15, 1912, he was the son of the late Marion and Kizzie Keeton Marcum. He was also preceded in death by one son, Eulin Milford Marcum; four brothers: Willard, Gilbert, George and Burg Marcum; one sister, Etta Stanfill; and three grandchildren. He was a retired employee of Tibbals Flooring Company and a member of the Pine Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Burke Marcum; two daughters: Kizzie Lou Sharp of Elizabethton, Tennessee; and Winnie Ruth Ladd of Anderson, Indiana; four sons: Franklin D. Marcum of Wilkerson, Indiana; Burkey Lee Marcum of Helenwood; Willard Ray Marcum and Marion Ezra Marcum, both of Oneida; two sisters: Rotela Judy of Oneida; and Vona Stultz of Sale Creek, Tennessee; three brothers: Gason Marcum, M.L. Marcum and Ezra Marcum, all of Oneida; 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, July 28, at 2 p.m., from the Chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Keith Marcum officiating. Burial followed in the Marcum-Kidd Cemetery. Jones and Son Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
