Marinus C. Bazan (Bazen) , 68, Dies at Ottawa Beach
Marinus C. Bazan [sic], 68, of Holland, died at his summer home at Ottawa Beach, where he was spending a few days, at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.
He was born in the Netherlands in 1873 and had been a resident of Grand Rapids for 21 years.
Survivors include the widow; four daughters, Mrs. Steward Yntema, Saginaw; Mrs. W.B. Elferdink and Mrs. William Nies, Holland, Mrs. Justin Albers, Grand Rapids; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Dick, Moline, Adrian, Allegan, Bert and Isaac, both of Grand Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. Bert Dykgraaf, Holland, And Mrs. Roland Aussicker, Holland.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Nibbelink-Notier Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bastiaan Kruithof officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home cemetery.
Friends may view the body Friday night at the funeral home.
