Henry Dan Hackney, 86, of Caruthersville, died Saturday at Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 23, 1897 in Bradford, Ark., he was a retired Tipton Box Co. employee.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bessie L. Hackney of Caruthersville; Two stepsons, Ralph Dew of Santee, Calif., and Charles Dew of Memphis; Two stepdaughters, Mrs. Helen Newman of Jackson, Tenn., and Mrs. Clara Hegenheiser of Memphis.
And nine step grandchildren.
Services were Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Dean Funeral Home chapel in Caruthersville, the Rev. Wendall Buck officiating, with burial in Little Prairie Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Armin Hegenheiser Jr., Armin Hegerheiser III, Charles Dew, Robert Crook, J.D. Boyce and James Boyce.
