Lon Dale Bawden, beloved brother, father, and friend, age 37, died August 15, 1991, in Salt Lake City as a result of a diabetic coma.

Born July 4, 1954, in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of Dale John and Lucille Barber Bawden. Married Connie Stowe in 1977; later divorced. Lon was an avid sportsman. Loved hunting, fishing, bodybuilding, and bicycling. Survived by two sons, Clinton Lon and Cody Dale, Salt Lake City; mother, West Valley City; father, Phoenix, Arizona; three brothers, and two sisters, Paul L. and wife Suzanne; Dee Jay and wife JoAnn; Brian Todd and wife DeAnn; Mrs. John (Debby) Stevens; Mrs. Alvin R. (Shelley) Crown.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2:00 p.m., at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Monday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park. (Published in the Deseret News, Sunday, August 18, 1991.)
