Margaret Cooley, dau. of Benjamin Cooley, Jr. and his 2nd wife Mary Needham, b. of record Nov. 13, 1757 at the now defunct town of Greenwich, Hampshire County, Mass., since 1938 under the waters of the Quabbin reservoir:

• Margret Cooley the daughter of Benjamin Cooley & marah his wife was born november 13th 1757. Recorded by Nathan Fisk Town Clerk.

Margaret d. Dec. 29, 1808 at Pittsford, VT (VT VRs) although her gravestone states she d. Dec. 31, 1808.

On July 27, 1780 at Greenwich, Mass. (recorded at adjoining Hardwick), Margaret m. 1) Job Winslow, the apparent s. of Seth Winslow, Jr. and Abigail Whitteridge (q.v.), bapt. Aug. 11, 1754 at Hardwick, Mass. They had at least son Job, Jr. before father Job's death in circa 1785.

At an unknown place and date, Margaret m. 2) Peter Rice, whose apparent eldest child was born circa 1786. They had four currently identified children and by the April 1791 special census of the Vermont Territory were residents of Pittsford, VT where Margaret and husband Peter are interred.

Per a GGG-Granddaughter:
Margaret's son Anthony Rice on his death left his house in Pittsford to a young married couple, Charles Melvin Winslow and Nancy Elizabeth Smith. Their son, William Ney Winslow was born in that house which still stands.
