J.F. Shirley of Authon died Sunday night very suddenly at the home of a friend at that place and was buried at the Authon graveyard Tuesday afternoon. The cause of death was heart failure. Mr. Shirley was a resident of this county for many years and was well liked. Recently he had sold his property with a view to moving to Oklahoma, and was to have started to that territory at an early date to make his home.
