Ollie Mae Smith, a resident of Sulphur, OK was born May 4, 1921 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Susan A. (Fish) and John Wesley Tyler. She passed away September 16, 2009 at Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years 4 months and 12 days.

She was married to Carl V. Smith at Corpus Christi, TX on September 24, 1939.

She was a Cosmetologist.

She grew up in Sulphur before moving to Midland, Texas where she lived for 30 years. She returned to Sulphur in January 1972. She was a member of 7th Day Adventist Church.

She was preceded in death by her Parents and Husband - Carl Smith on April 16, 1982.

Survived by her Sister - Laura Watkins of Longview, Texas; Friends - Bud and Sue Throne of Ada, OK; Diana and Cruz Carrillo, Sulphur, OK; Neal and Donna Servais, Lehigh, OK; and Melanie Kirby

Services will be held Saturday September 19, 2009 at 10:00 AM Graveside at Oaklawn Cemetery officiated by Bud Throne. Services under the direction of DeArman's Clagg Funeral Home.
