Jeanette Thiery, age 80, resident of Brainerd, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006, at St. Joseph's Medical Center. Jeanette was born in Brainerd March 6, 1925, to William and Ella (Anderson) Tifft. She married Howard Thiery Aug. 9, 1941. She retired after years of service at the Brainerd State Hospital. Jeanette was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sons, Don (Lois) Thiery, Lonny (Diane) Thiery, Kerry (Ila) Thiery; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and a special neighbor, Jodi Dixon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; sisters, Mable, Mary and Josephine; and granddaughter, Corilynn Babineau.
Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006, at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with the Rev. Andy Smith officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Sunday at the funeral home.
