His given name was William Jorden Temple and he was William J at least until the 1920 census. He apparently went by Jordan (both spellings appear) with his family but used his first name for official records. He was found with his parents in 1900, 1910 and 1920. Full name is in WW1 draft also tying him to next of kin, WWI draft registration, serial # 115, order # 9191, 5 Jun 1917.
