SAN ANGELO -
Our precious son Nathan Wade Meza, 17, of Miles, TX went to be with his heavenly Father on July 21, 2009 in MIles. The mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m, Saturday, July 25, 2009 at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Rev. Magnus Chilaka as celebrant. Interment will follow at Miles Cemetery. Nathan was born on June 9, 1992 in San Angelo, Texas. He attended school in Miles growing up and was currently about to start his senior year at Miles H.S. Nathan loved all sports but was very active in cross country and basketball. He had won numerous medals for cross country at Miles H.S. He had received an Outstanding Academic Achievement recognition at school as well. Nathan loved being outdoors doing anything, especially if it meant being outdoors with family or friends. He also loved all animals and was a natural working with them. Nathan enjoyed playing video games and listening to his iPod. He was very active and devoted to his church and was a member of R.C.Y. Nathan always had a smile on his face but mostly his tremendous love for his family and friends shined through every day of his life. We will miss Nathan and he will remain in our hearts forever. He was preceded in death by his Great-Grandmother, Helen Francis, his grandfathers, Walter Hippe and Zaragoza Meza, his grandmother, Carolyn Crawford and his cousin, Timothy Calhoun. He is survived by his loving family, parents Luis and Adela Meza of Miles, Linda Hippe of MIles, Boby Crawford of San Angelo and Richard Gibney of Long Beach, CA; his aunts and uncles, Roman and Susan Meza of Miles, Laura and Curtis Brooks of San Angelo, Melanie Nealey of Ballinger, Ernesto and Lourdes Meza of Piedras Negras, MX, Dora M. CAniglia of Pensacola, FL, Chris and Debra Calhoun of San Angelo, Bob Crawford of San Angelo and Tammy Langdon of San Antonio, TX, special friend, Monica McGee of Sonora, TX and numerous other cousins, close family members and many close friends. Pallbearers for the service will be Kyle Nealey, Kenneth Guerrero, Ernesto Meza, Jr., Ryan Nealey, Troy Halfmann, Justin Halfmann, Nathan Granzin and Ricardo Carbajal. Honorary Pallbearers for the service will be the Miles H.S. Senior Class of 2010.
