Robert Cottrell Rites
In Davis Tuesday
Services were held Tuesday in the Methodist church in Davis for Robert Cottrell, age 84, who died Dec. 27 in Sulphur. He was a native of Limestone county Alabama but came west and settled near this community in 1905. He was a retired farmer. H. V. Bulmand of the Primitive Baptist church in Sulphur of which Mr. Cottrell was a member, officiated. Burial was in Greenhill cemetery under the direction of Bahner Funeral Home.
Survivors are 3 sons, O. L. of Sulphur, A. E. of Elmore City, and O. A. Cottrell of Tulsa; 1 daughter, Mrs. Lillie Petterson of Tulsa; 3 brothers, R. C. of Wynnewood, D. J. and S. E. of Davis, two sisters, Mrs. Ida Lee, Lawton, Mrs. Nina Hayes, Lockney, Tex., also 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
Pall bearers were Leonard Warren, Oliver Cottrell, Matt and John Russell, Alonzo Jones and Charley Cottrell.
