A homemaker and resident of Krotz Springs for 48 years, she died at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 1996, at Doctor's Hospital, Opelousas. She was 86 and a native of Montgomery. Religious services at First Baptist Church, Krotz Springs, at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Gene Ortis and the Rev. Randy Bourgeois. Interment in Baptist Cemetery.
Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Lucille) Ortis, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Ina [Mo]ran, Krotz Springs; a son, Thomas Cleaburn Aaron, West Columbia, S.C.; a brother, Frank Pender, Natchez; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Krotz Springs. Memorial donations may be made to any Alzheimer's association. Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home, Krotz Springs, in charge of arrangements.
