William P. Walker

William P. Walker, 77, of 204 Everett St., Clearfield, died Saturday afternoon at Clearfield Hospital.

Born in Kittanning, Dec. 14, 1895, he was a son of the late George F. and Elizabeth (Paine) Walker.

He was retired as a manager of the refreshment concession stand at Kennywood Park in Pittsburgh and was formerly a manager of Clearfield Electric Cooperative.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Mrs. Romona Kaufman and Mrs. Jack (Wynona) Hoyt, both of Clearfield; three sisters, Mrs. Tom (Christine) Keller of Youngstown, Ohio; and Mrs. Glen (Margaret) Kyle and Catherine Walker both of West Mifflin; two brothers, Clarence, Youngstown, Ohio; and George; Monroeville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Bennett Funeral Home in Clearfield with Rev. Adolph Swenson of Grampian officiating. Interment was in the Bradford Cemetery.
