Donald “Don” Dewain Baird, Sr., age 85 of Jacksboro passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019.
He enjoyed collecting coins, knifes, going to flea markets, and flowers.
Don was an avid talker that didn’t allow you to get a word in. He also enjoyed football and basketball, especially Tennessee Vols.
Don was a United States Army Veteran.
He is preceded in death by wife Joyce Ann Baird, parents Andrew and Glenna Baird, and brother Delbert Harrison Baird III.
He is survived by sons Dewain Baird & wife Valerie of Jacksboro, Delbert Baird of Clinton, Darrel Baird of Montana, and daughter Glenna Baird of Montana. Several grandchildren, great grand children and a host of other relatives.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday, September 20, 2019 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home.
Friends and family will meet 10 AM Saturday, September 21, for graveside service at Valley View Cemetery in Elk Valley Tennessee with Rev. Tom Reece officiating. Campbell County Honor Guard will be in charge of graveside service.
