Ruby J. Newman, age 80, resident of Harmony House in Brainerd, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at St. Joseph's Medical Center. Ruby was born in Duluth, Minn., Nov. 30, 1927, to John and Ida (Maki) Newman. She had been employed as a nurse's aide.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brainerd with the Rev. Mark Skinner officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be the hour before services Friday at the church.
Arrangements are with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
