Survivors include her husband, Charles "Chuck" Halsted; stepfather, Knute Brumberg; daughters, Vicki (Douglas) Kruse, Julie Van Der Schaaf and Forrest Crocker; son, Joe (Marie) Van Der Schaaf; daughter, Debbie Halsted; daughter, Sandy (Bruce) McLeod; daughter, Connie (Todd) Lyscio; grandchildren, Cory and Bri Anna Kruse, Forrest and Michael Crocker, Zachary and Ryder Van Der Schaaf, Cameron and Andrea Gillingham, Tom and Michael Lyscio, Chuck (Tasha) Halsted and Roxanne (Todd) Schuety; great-grandchildren, Shania, Jackson and Pheobe.
Her father, Ervin A. Krause, and mother, Florence C. Brumberg; and two brothers, Jim Krause and Randy Krause, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brainerd with Pastor Ivy Borgstrom officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Brainerd. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and Saturday before services from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association.
