Miss Ernestene Blythe, aged 16, died July 18, 1935, at Ardmore after a short illness. On the previous Sunday she was stricken ill with appendicitis while at Healdton and was rushed to a hospital at Ardmore where an operation was performed. She was believed to be getting along all right when pneumonia developed, resulting in her death.
