Gertrude Black Is Buried Wednesday
Mrs. Gertrude E. Black, 74, of 106 South Fourth street died Feb. 16 in her home. She was born Dec. 5, 1901, at Cooper, Tex., and moved to Davis from Healdton in 1967.
Services were held Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist church with Finis Steelman officiating. Interment was in Green Hill cemetery, and Bahner Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, George Black, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Durabelle Ryals of Denver City, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. E. A. Hibbert of Wynnewood, Okla.; a brother, R. P. Holland of San Gabriel, Calif.; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
