Henry C. Chandler, 65, if the Red Bridge community, Peebles Rt. 1, died Friday at his home.
A retired construction worker, he was a native of Blaine, Ky., and had lived in Scioto and Pike counties for several years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vesta Sparks Chandler; three sons, Durard of Otway, Arnold of Greenfield, Jerry at home; five daughters, Mrs. Opal Carpenter of Bainbridge Rt. 2, Mrs. Wanda Williams of Blanchester, Mrs. Phyllis Perryman of Honolulu, Hawaii, Mrs. Donna Jarrett of Columbus and Mrs. Carol Miller of Cape Canaveral, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Julia Culp of West Portsmouth and 26 grandchildren.
Funeral services are to be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Big Run Baptist Church with Rev. Corbet Jenkins officiating. Burial is to be in Gardner Cemetery under direction of Botkin Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the residence after 7 p.m. Sunday.
