Obituary of John Henry Sigler:

John Henry Sigler, 414 George Street, did suddenly of a heart attach on West Antietam Street on Friday evening at 5 o'clock. He was 62 years of age and born and reared at Ringgold son of John and Susan (Sites) Sigler. He had been living here for 41 years. He was a member of the Grace U.B. Church.

He is survived by wife, Mrs. Mary L. (Lynn) Sigler; daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Ogden, this city; Mrs. Regina Forrest, Mt. Lena; Mrs. Thelma Golden, this city; sons Charles I., Sharpsburg; Maurice S. and John C., both of Smithsburg; Robert L., this city; Glenn W., U.S. Army stationed in Japan; 20 grandchildren and one great grandchild; sister, Mrs. Alice Detrow, Smithsburg; Mrs. Grace Adams, Rouzerville; Mrs. Nora Shultz, Waynesboro; Mrs. Lilla Stouffer, Leitersburg; Mrs. Rosa Blocker, Baltimore; brother Norma Sigler, Webb, Iowa.

Body was removed to the funeral home of A.K. Coffman where [corrected spelling] services will be held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. G.L. Rider officiating; interment in Manor cemetery, near Tilghmanton.
