Wayne worked as a timer for LeTourneau Industries. Mr. Grizzle worked hard all of his life and loved working outdoors, where he could be found piddling around on various projects.
Wayne was a former member of the Longview Bowlers Association and at was one time a member of the board.
Upon the death of his father, and with a brother in the military, Wayne left school and joined the Civil Conservation Corps. and supported his mother and family left behind.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Lewis E. Grizzle and Billy E. Grizzle.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of more than 67 years, Lois Nell Grizzle; son, Bobby Wayne Grizzle; grandsons, Matthew R. Grizzle and wife, Christina, and Robert W. Stansel and wife, Heather; granddaughter, Lindsay K. Grizzle and friend, Dustin; five great-grandchildren, Bailey, Preston, Garrett, Kaleb and Corbin; as well as three nephews; six great-nephews; two great-nieces; and numerous great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews and other loving family members.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Lakeview Funeral Home.
