Nick was born on January 13, 1993 in Fargo to Paul and Kara (Chase) Bailey. He wasted no time in capturing the hearts of all who knew him.

Nick attended Nativity, Sullivan, and most recently Shanley High School. There he impressed his teachers with his determination to excel in all his studies. Not only did he apply that energy in the classroom but also on the field. Nick played as offensive and defensive lineman for the Shanley Deacons and was fast on his way to showing the potential of great athleticism. He was already a great sport and respected by his teammates.

He grew up in the city but was just as at home in the country. Nick loved the outdoors. An active young sportsman, Nick enjoyed hunting, fishing, water sports, ice skating, and camping. He had a mechanical mind. He loved helping Dad with construction projects. He was adept and had a bright mind for picking up on just about any challenge that was placed in front of him. He lived his life with courage, determination, passion and love.

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Kara; his sister, Ashley, his brother, Kyle; his very special nephew, Chase; his grandparents, Larry and Carolyn Bailey, Fargo, and Ralph and Cheryl Chase, Valley City, along with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
