John Wesley Kimble, the son of Robert Earl Kimble and Catharine Evans, married Susan Eleanor "Nellie" Hiatt the daughter of Charles R. Hiatt and Elizabeth A. Black. They were married on May 17th, 1902 in Jay County, Indiana.

After the death on John's 1st wife, he married Maude G. Poffenberger-Mettler the daughter of Henry Poffenberger and Matha White. They were married on April 20th, 1928 in Jay County, Indiana.
