Services were held at Calvary Baptist Church in Hayti Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Ida Elizabeth Clark, 89, who died at Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital on Sunday, January 23. The Rev. Glenn Harwood officiated and burial was in Little Prairie Cemetery with H.S. Smith Funeral Home service.
She was born in Lovelville, Tenn., January 3, 1877 and in that city on December 23, 1893, was married to Isaac Henry Clark. He preceded her in death in 1934. The family moved to Pemiscot County in 1914.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Edith Fatchett of Hayti, Mrs. Mary Hageman of Dexter and Mrs. Guss Lancaster of Lobelville; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Baker and Mrs. Willie Lancaster; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
