She graduated from high school in 1941 and worked upon graduation at American-Marsh Pumps, Duplex Printing Company, and was a Court Reporter in the Judge Advocate's Office of Percy Jones General Hospital. She later was a legal secretary for various attorneys.
She married William H. Boyd on March 6, 1943 and in 1988 they moved to Arizona.
She enjoyed being a member of the Rhythm Tappers, Jazz Dancers and also modeled costumes designed by Demetrius. She was a member of the St. Haralambros Greek Orthodox Church.
She is survived by her son Greg and niece Maria Monzures of Chicago.
