Funeral services for Susie Kelley, 62, of Montgomery, Texas will be held at 2 p.m. Tues. March 7, 1995, in Cashner Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Walter Lumpkin officiating. Entombment will be private at the request of the family. Cashner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Kelley's family will receive relatives and friends this evening from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kelley was born to the late Grady and Lorine Glawson on Sept. 14, 1932, in Hemphill, Texas and passed away on Saturday, March 4, 1995, in Montgomery, Texas.
Mrs. Kelley married R.B. Kelley on March 22, 1951, and has lived in the community ever since that time. She was a past member of Mims Baptist Church and a present member of Honea Baptist Church.
She is survived by ; husband R.B. Kelley of Montogomery, Texas; daughter and son-in-law Sherry and Frank Owen of San Antonio, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Blan and Elizabeth Kelley of Conroe, Texas; grandchildren; Shirley Owen of San Antonio, Jake Kelley of San Antonio, Shannon McClellan of Nacogdoches, Christi Esquivel of Dallas and Trey Owen of San Antonio; great grandchild, Jake McClellan of Nacogdoches; sisters and brothers-in-law; Ruth and Charles Joiner of Beaumont, Verline Small of Beaumont, Phyllis and C.W. Hinson of Kirbyville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Aubrey and Phyllis Glawson of Phoenix Arizona, Delton and Dollie Glawson of Kirbyville, Harvey and Eva Kelley of Houston, Rudolph and Annie Ruth Valentine of Odessa, Texas; sister-in-law, Norma Jean Glawson of Beaumont. Twenty six nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by; brothers and sister-in-law, Leonard Glawson, and Willie B. and Mary Glawson.
