Daughter of Claude, Sr. and Nora. Married to Dewey Lee Newman Dec 4, 1943 and to Howard Brown Oct 20, 1966. She lived in Michigan for some years before moving back to KY. She was tall and thin and quite a character, reminiscent of Carol Burnett in Mama's Family. Had a ready quip for any occasion. She was living in the old homeplace below the graveyard when she was taken ill and she died in a Lexington hospital.
