Henry M Knutson, 63, of 174 West 10th Street, died yesterday at 7:15 p.m. as a result of an apoplexic stroke suffered May 11. For the past ten years, he had been employed as engineer at Holland Hospital. He was a member of th First Methodist church, where he served on the board of stewards. He was born 5 feb 1874, in Holland.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs Gunnar Andersen and Mrs Charles Scott of Holland,Henrietta, Mrs Elmer L McIntyre of Grand Rapids, and Miss Ruth Knutson at home. Mr Knutson was the last survivor of the family of Mr and Mrs Hans C Knutson, old pioneers of this vicinity. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the M E Church, with Rev. W. G. Flowerday officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap cemetery. The body is at the Dykstra Funeral Home, and Friday morning will be taken to the Knutson home, where friends may view it.
