Elmer E. Johnson

Services for Elmer E. Johnson, 81, who died Sunday at 5 pm in the Evangelical Hospital, will be held tomorrow at 2 pm at the Kramm funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. Raymond C. Shindler, pastor of the Christ Lutheran Church, of which he was a member. Interment will be in Harmony Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson had been in the hospital for 10 days. He resided with a son, William Johnson, in Chester, since the death of his wife last spring. He had been in ill health for some time. For many years, he resided at 551 Cleveland Avenue in Milton.

The deceased was born April 24, 1872, at Milesburg and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John H. Johnson. He was a steel worker by occupation and was employed by the Milton Manufacturing Company until his retirement in 1946.

Surviving are two sons, Maurice and William, both of Chester, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
