ANDREW BROWN OF MONROE SUCCUMBS TO HEART ATTACK

Funeral Services Held Tuesday in Monroe South Ward Chapel.

Andrew Brown of Monroe was found dead in his field Saturday morning, shortly after he had been at the house for breakfast. The cause of death is attributed to heart trouble. It was Mr. Browns wife who found the body, and the shock to her and other members of his family and friends was very great, as he had apparently been in good health.

Born in Denmark, August 12, 1862, a son of Christian C. and Dorothy Anderson Brown, he was but six years of age when the family immigrated to Utah. They settled in Monroe with the early settlers, and have followed farming as an occupation. Andrew Brown married Zina Lisonbee, who preceded him in death nine years ago, and to them the following sons and daughters were born, all of whom survive: Elbert Brown of Idaho, Marion, Boyd and Scott Brown of Monroe, Grant Brown of Nephi, Mrs. Pearl Baldwin of Salt Lake, Mrs. Zelda Adams of New Jersey, Mrs. Dorothy Oldroyd of Fountain Green, Mrs. Delma Diggle of California, Mrs. Zina Dastrup of Boulder City, Nevada. Surviving also is Mr. Browns second wife Mrs. Isabella Anderton Brown, whom he married in 1926.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Monroe south ward chapel, Bishop Melbourne DeMill officiating. The funeral procession was preceded by a car load of flowers which were arranged about the bier by the Relief society. The ward choir directed by Thomas Ransom furnished the music. Speakers were Nephi H. Nielson and Joseph A. Smith, who referred to the honesty which characterized Mr. Browns dealings and to his interest in the welfare of his family. Heber Magleby offered the invocation and the benediction was by C. A. Winget.

Interment was in the Monroe cemetery.
