Mrs. Susan Ulrey died at 9:45 Sunday night at her home, 1241 North Water street. Her death was caused by the infirmities of age. She was over eighty-two year old. She was born in Tippecanoe, Ind. Oct 16, 1830. Thirty nine years ago she came to Illinois and two years later to Macon county. She was a member of the German Baptist Brethern church at Cerro Gordo. She was the widow of Jacob Ulery who died several years ago. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Emma Fouts of Bradley?, Cal. and Mrs. Lizzie Fouts of Salem, Il. The body of Mrs. Ulery will be taken to Cerro Gordo Tuesday morning and the funeral will be held there.

The will of Susan Ulrey was filed for probate Thursday and the hearing is set for June 3. To a grandson, Roy Fouts, is left $50. All the balance of the estate is to be divided equally among Virgil and Ira Fouts, grandsons, and Minnie and Mary Replogis nieces. Melvin Welty of Cerro Gordo is named as executor.
