Last rites for Mrs. Ophelia Frances Maseberg, 64, beloved resident of the Wheeling-Mt. Zion Community, who died in an Alexandria hospital Saturday night, were conducted Monday at 3 p.m. at the Union Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Richard Bond, pastor, officiated.

Burial was in the Union Hill [Mt. Zion] Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Johnny and Ollie Bishop, Henry, Jesse, and John Keiffer, and Frank Fredieu.

Mrs. Maseberg was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church, the home demonstration club, and was active in all community and parish civic affairs.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest B. Maseberg; one daughter, Mrs. G. K. Phillips of Nederland, Texas; two brothers, James L. Chelette of Port Arthur, Texas, and Walter H. Chelette of Simi, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. D. L. Smith and Mrs. Leland Lacy, both of Port Arthur, Texas; her mother, Mrs. J. W. Chelette of Port Arthur, and two grandchildren.
