John Monroe Hannah was born to James Riley "Jim" Hannah and Rebecca McElwain Hannah on April 26, 1866. He married Louisa Matilda Shook on August 31, 1886. They had 12 children. John was a farmer.

John passed away at 76-years-old. His death certificate shows he passed from 1. paralysis 2. apoplexy 3. Atherosclerosis

Apoplexy is an old medical term. Basically due to the atherosclerosis (clogged arteries) he had a stroke and subsequently paralysis which contributed to his death.
