Isaac Burdsell (should have been spelled Burdsall after his grandmother's maiden name) Bradrick was the sixth child of William and Eliza Keefer Bradrick. In about 1882, Isaac migrated from his father's farm in Canton, MO to Jewell Co., KS. There, he met and married Lydia May Brant on Feb. 24, 1887. They migrated by covered wagon to a homestead in Colby, KS, but life was so difficult, they returned to Formoso, KS in 1898, where Isaac had a nice farm west of town, with many dairy cattle. Isaac and Lydia had four children, Leo, Carl, Hazel and Harold.
