MARTIN KIRKER Martin Kirker was born in Coshocton county Ohio September 26 1838 and died after a lingering illness December 7 1919
He was united in marriage to Rachel Loder August 26 1863 He was one of the old pioneers of this state having settled on a farm near Ashland
In 1863 One son John M was born to them and now lives on the old home farm Mr Kirker leaves his wife son five grandchildren and one great grandchild besides many other relatives and friends to mourn his death
The funeral service was held at the home Tuesday afternoon and was conducted by Rev L A Jones pastor of the Methodist church The body was laid to rest in the Ashland cemetery.
