Samuel E. McClellan was a builder. He constructed many homes and church building in Mexico. Sam was called upon to draw plans and build the new Colonia Juarez academy which was finished in 1903. He also built the wagon bridge and the swinging bridge in Colonia Juarez, buildings in Colonia Dublan and worked on the Hacienda in Old Casas.
He was a builder on the first Chapel in El Paso, TX. His home has been torn down, but it was a beautiful home with a wide curved stair case that went to the second floor up stairs.
