Mrs. Lydia Ann Hurtt died in her home in Cerro Gordo Friday morning. She was a member of the Methodist church in Cerro Gordo.
She was born in Macon county,Oct. 17,1855 and was married to John W. Hurtt on Sept.27,1877. She leaves the following children, L. O.Hurtt of Terre Haute,Ind, Mrs. Grace Body of Bement,Mrs. D. E.Dickson of Long Beach Calif. and John W. Hurtt of Decatur,brother Lee Hoff,sister,Mrs. Jennie Deck,both of Cerro Gordo.
Funeral services will be held Monday in the Methodist church in Cerro Gordo with burial in West Frantz cemetery.
