BANGOR - William "Dick" Thebeau, 65, of 244 Mount Hope Avenue, died Nov. 9, 1987, at a local hospital. He was born in Bangor, March 7, 1922, the son of Louis and Agnes L. (Hennessey) Thebeau. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of the John F. Kennedy Chapter No. 6 DAV and was employed for many years by the U.S. government in Washington, D.C. Surviving besides his wife, Edith H. (Kelly) Thebeau of Bangor, are one sister, Jane A. McDonald of Bangor; one uncle, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Hatch in 1987. Funeral services for the family only will be held Thursday at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. Interment will be in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
