Mary was the youngest of nine children born to Erskin Coleman and Linnie Otto Robison. In all that she did and was, as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, she exemplified the fruits of the Spirit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control.
She is survived by daughter, Judy Johnson Kaufman and husband, William C. Kaufman, III of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren: William C. Kaufman, IV and wife, Stacey, Alexandria, VA; Kellie Belk and husband, Bob, Baton Rouge; Kristin Patton and husband, Brian, Baton Rouge; Courtney Haindel and husband, Ben, Covington; eight great-grandchildren: Caroline and William C. Kaufman, V; Clayton and Edward Daniel V; Courtland and Keller Patton; and Mary Evelyn and Molly Mae McPherson.
