DIED OF HEMORRHAGE
OBERLIN, June 23 - John Brightbill, aged 51 years, of near Oberlin, after an illness of one week, died suddenly this morning at 6:30 from a hemorrhage caused by an attack of typhoid fever. He was a prominent member of Salem Lutheran Church and president of the church council. He is survived by his wife and son, a brother, Joseph M. Brightbill of Hummelstown and two sisters, Mrs. Edward Mumma of Paxtang, and Mrs. J. F. Hicks of Linglestown. Funeral services will be held at his late home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and interment will be made in Wenrick's cemetery, East of Linglestown.
His death certificate indicates he was the son of David Brightbill who was born in PA and Mary Buck who was born in PA.
