Another old veteran of the Civil
war has answered the last roll call.
Charles Johnson of Eaton died March
26, aged 70 years. Mr. Johnson had
been failing for a long time, but was
not confined to his home until recently.
He was a member of Otis
Tillinghast post of Morrisville and
every Memorial day took an active
interest in decorating the soldiers'
graves in our cemetery with flowers
and flags. Mr. Johnson was an honored
and respected citizen and will be
missed in this community. He leaves.
besides his widow, one daughter, Mrs.
George Darrow of West Eaton.
