Services for George Robert Bailey, shop foreman for Leflore Farm, were held at 2:30 this afternoon at Leflore Baptist Church. The Rev. H. L. Barnes officiated. Burial was in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Carroll County with Williams and Lord in charge.
Mr. Bailey, who was born in Montgomery County, died Thursday evening after a heart attack. He was 69. A resident of Leflore for 35 years, he was a member of the Leflore Baptist Church.
He leaves his wife, six sons, Houston Bailey of Greenwood, Bobby Bailey and John R. Bailey, both of Grenada, Leroy Bailey of Leflore, James Bailey of Jackson and Richard Bailey of, Kansas City, three daughters. Miss Lallie Virginia Bailey, Miss Dorothy Bailey and Mrs. Clifton Neal, all of Leflore, a sister, Mrs. Tillman Little of Grenada, 10 grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
