Lillie Hamilton was the 5th child of George A. Hamilton and Charlotte Eva Powers. She was born in Colorado in 1884. She married Clarence Davison in 1908, and they had one child, Charlotte Evelyn. They were divorced in 1910. Lillie and Charlotte moved in with her parents in a home southeast of Loveland, CO.The home burned down around 1920. The family moved to a home at 745 N. Lincoln in Loveland, and then in 1925 to a home at 872 N. Cleveland. When her parents died, Lillie inherited a 160 acre farm at Johnson's Corner as well as the family home on N. Cleveland, which she turned into a rooming house.
Lillie was very active in the Free Methodist Church, and she maintained a large vegetable garden next to her home.
In her later years she deeded the big house to the Church. It was eventually sold to make way for a Safeway. She moved into a nursing home, where she died in 1973.
