George Benjamin Boling, Sr. son of John Benjamin Boling and Ida Frances Sinquefield, married Mary Elizabeth Riley 7 Jan 1945 in Senatobia, Tate, MS. The couple had three children: Frances, Linda & George, Jr.

George B. Boling, Sr. is a graduate of Tate County Agricultural High School, Senatobia, MS: Class of 1942. He is a World War II Veteran, having served his Country with the United States Air Force.

Mr. Boling was a member of Senatobia Church of Christ where he was involved in many aspects of the church from being a Deacon and Elder to teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir.

He served his Country and his home town of Senatobia, MS as the first city mail carrier. He began his career with the U.S. Post Office 1 Jul 1950, and retired after 35 years of service.

In the words of his son: "He was a provider, a survivor, and a soldier of the Cross until the end." George Benjamin Boling, Sr., a man of God who was loved by all who knew him. He is now Serving God in Heaven.

George B. Boling, 86, passed away September 8, 2009 at his residence in Senatobia, Miss. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Senatobia Church of Christ, where he was a member, with burial following in Bethesda Cemetery.

Mr. Boling was a retired Mail Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and a veteran of WW2 having served in the Air Force.

He leaves his wife, Mary Boling of Senatobia; his daughters, Linda Ford (Bill) of Como, Miss. and Frances Payne (Bill) of Fairfield Bay, Ark.; his son, George B. Boling, Jr. (Paula) of Franklin, Tenn.; his sister, Florence Morris of Senatobia; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
