Mr Uphouse was born March 4, 1889 at Davenport, Neb and he was a veteran of World War I. He held the rank of second lieutenant. He is survived by a son, Harold Uphouse of Lakewood, Cal; two brothers, Walter of Caldwell and one sister, Mrs. Hannah Gilmore of Geneva, Neb and two grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Summers Chapel in Boise with Chaplain J E Frazee officiating. Interment was at Morris Hill.
