Mr. Jackson died Thursday, Dec. 1, in Bartholomew County Hospital, Columbus, Ind. He was a retired carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, L. Edna Jackson; one son, Clarence E. Jackson, Aurora; three daughters, Jean Deamron, Farmers Retreat, Phyllis Bischoff, Greendale, and Janet Caldwell, Dillsboro; one brother, Wilmer Jackson, Aurora; two sisters, Dora Petty and Margaret Dunn, both of Aurora; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Dillsboro Emergency Unit or the charity of the donor's choice.
