son of Rev William Dunshee (who pastored a church in Twinsburg). Was born Sept 10 1824 in Warrensville, Ohio. Died in Twinsburg, Ohio.

Was a teacher at district schools before and after marriage. Did carpentry and later was a dairyman and manager of a cheese factory. He was also justice of the peace and a deacon at a Congregational church. Then in 1883 to his death he worked on several farms until he finally build his own home and farm on Solon Rd in Twinsburg.
