Robert V. Ardizzoni, 58, of Douglasville and beloved husband, father and nonno, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday. Bob was a retired USAF SMSGT; Vietnam Veteran and also retired from OSHA as a Sr. Compliance Officer. He held dual US and Italian citizenship. Computers, photography and traveling brought him great pleasure, but nothing equal to the joys of riding the open road on his Harley. He is survived by his wife, Rhona; eldest son and family, USAF Capt. Robert and Sue Ardizzoni; grandchildren, Nathan, Jessica, Asher; all of Fredericksburg, VA; youngest son and family, Police Officer Adam and Sharon Ardizzoni; grandchildren Courtney and Noah; mother, Wyllene Ardizzoni; brother, Leonard and Midge Ardizzoni; sister, Geri and Tracey Lang; nieces, Jennifer Ardizzoni, Melissa Joyce; nephews, Aaron Ardizzoni, Robert Joyce and Michael Lang; all of Jacksonville, FL. Services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2003 at 2 p.m., Grace Church, 3382 Hwy 5, Douglasville, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Christian Light Foundation, For Judy Russell, POB 16791, Jacksonville, FL 32245. The Cremation Society of the South is in charge of the arrangements.
