COOKEVILLE – Funeral services for Nina L. Ellis, 85, will be held at the chapel of Hooper and Huddleston Funeral Home, Wednesday, August 22, at 2 p.m. with the Revs. Andrew Albert and Roy West officiating. Burial will be in the Cookeville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Wllis died August 20 at Cookeville General Hospital following an extended illness.
She was a native of Putnam County, the daughter of the late Simon Peter and Sophronia Whitson Huddleston and the widow of Alva Ellis. She was a retired school teacher.
She is survived by a brother, Harwood H. Huddleston of Buffalo Valley and a sister, Mrs. Forrest Anderson of Silver Point.
